structure of the earth
Today I'm going to tell you about the structure of the earth. Here are three main layers of the Earth:
-crust
-mantle
-core
CRUST
The crust is the thinnest, top layer of the Earth. It's thickness is about 0 to 50km. The crust was made out of plates.
MANTLE
The mantle was the thickest layer of the Earth. It's thickness was 2900km. The mantle was made out of rocks in the molten state. Mantle was beneath the crust.
CORE
The core was the innermost layer of the Earth. The core was made out of solid iron & nickle. It's stay in solid form because of the temperature. The core is hot, which causes the molten rocks in the mantle into liquid state.

field trip to Beth Shalom organic farm
On Thursday 13 Sept 2012, our class is having a field trip to an Beth Shalom organic farm where we could learn about monocotyledon & dicotyledon plant. There, we also explore about monocotyledons & dicotyledon plants, it seems that there was a lot of plants which is dicotyledon than monocotyledon. We also plant a cassava which is quite hard.
Actually, we're not alone though, we also have our class next door having field trip too. The field trip fun,but gotta admit it, its quite hot weather in there. We also try to learning to plant by doing grafting & cutting. I'm just doing the tying the rope when we're doing grafting. We learn a lot on Beth Shalom. I hope that I can bring my family in there.

The soil erosion caused by the weathering of rocks, wind, waves, water, heat from the sun, plants, animals, frozen water & human activities.
What are the effects of soil erosion?
The effects are the shape of land, condition of soil & water.
How can we prevent soil erosion?
We can do it by stop cutting trees, grow plants&crops along the slopes and build retaining walls to hold back slopes.
